This device permits maximum air flow through and around an evaporative media containing a humidifier pad, which is treated with Sylgard™ (a special formulation of Dow Corning that combats bacteria and fungus growth and helps keep the air cleaner).

How does it work?

The Autoflo Whole House Furnace Humidifer Models 400BP and 800BP plenum models are by-pass humidifiers which use a motorized rotating evaporative pad for increased efficiency. By-passed air is passed through the evaporative pad where it is moisturized and then returned to the furnace blower for circulation throughout the house.
